Season Champion Speed 2022

At the start of the Sofia World Cup, I was apparently just 10 points behind leader Jaroslav Chum. We faced each other in the second race of the Speed final. It wasn’t on my mind at the start. I focused on the race. I knew where to improve, how to gain speed... and it worked out great! What an honor to represent the Netherlands as the season winner!

What a season! Covid caused a run-up with obstacles. Together with my trainer and coach Mark van Swieten and the other athletes from TeamNL we managed to overcome all obstacles.

Thanks to everyone for the support! Looking forward to the World Championship 2022 in Japan!
